Parking Information:

Metered Parking in Chico costs 25 cents for 30 minutes, and most streets are metered downtown for either 2 hours or 10 hours. There is often parking available at the city parking lot between 2nd & 3rd and Wall Street. Walk west 4 blocks to get to the BMU. There is also a city parking garage at 3rd and Salem which is slightly closer (3 blocks).

Weekends Only - lots near campus and campus parking garage are open to the public.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are the heaviest student use times on campus, and parking near campus in residential areas can be difficult. Use the lots in downtown areas and walk west to campus.

For disabled permit parking close to BMU, use the Normal and 2nd street parking lot. Campus Police may be able to help with any questions regarding close access. Call 898-5555.

WARNING! At the Hazel Street parking lot for CSU, please be aware that a section is designated private parking for an apartment complex, and cars will be ticketed and towed if not authorized to park there.
